Omo! Why was this given to me?Usually Drum Captains get this award every year.I admitted to my band teacher that I felt I didn't deserve it, but he said I did.Plus, all the lower classmen thought I deserved it. o_OThis was just awarded to me last night.I thought for sure it was going to be Raymond and Josh. But, when the band teacher listed all these things I did as he made one of his "possible made from the impossible" speech, I was literally speechless. As soon as he said from Honor Band, I thought it would be awarded to Josh and Ry.As soon as he said "fixing parts of the music to make things easier", I immediately knew he was talking about me, but I had to make sure.(He said all these things in our annual band banquet.)As soon as he mentioned "she", I kept swaring."Oh, shit, shit shit shit SHIT!" I was trying to hold back me tears. It worked.Always does.I immediately pointed out in my head that I remember the Honor Band this year. The only girl percussionist was me.The band teacher (I shall call him director) mentioned marimbas, xylophones, and mallet stuff.I cried on the inside. My sister, Connie, (yes, I used her as a character in my story, Guardian. Please read that later on.) looked as though she read my ming, and smiled so brightly at me.So, she still looks up to me, huh.Thought that period of admiring your older sister was over.Right when the band director said my name, I heard hollering and loud screams from behind me and all around me.I only formed a small smile on my face as I quickly made my pace to walk up to the stage.I hugged the band director, and everyone went "Awww~!"I quickly made a short bow as I walked off stage.Dude, I was like freaking nervous! There were a lot of people being awarded in this banquet.Even our band director got a plaque and a special pin!Thank Kevin and Elizabeth for this idea! :DPlus, our #1 band mom just graduated at that award banquet, which means she'll be leaving us! :(But, no worries, she'll still contact us if we need to see her or that we miss her. :)When the band banquet was over, most people left because it was around 8:45 PM??Whatever. I'm still on that shock process.Almost everyone I was familiar with who stayed after the banquet was over hugged me in sweet embraces. They kept congratulating me.I felt so happy.Josh said he admitted that he thought he deserved the award, but just as well, he felt proud I got the award. As he said that, he kept kissing the top of my head as he hugged me tightly.I felt so confused. Was he... jealous?I felt bad. Later on, I heard from Konini (yeah, sometimes I call her that!) that Josh and David were the only ones so far who didn't think I deserved the award.I know how Josh felt, and I'm glad he admitted it, but I didn't know why David felt that way about me.I got a bit upset.I wish he was more open to me like Josh was.I'm still shocked over the small plaque I got.Percussion Musician of the Year 2009-2010.I'm not revealing my real name yet, but I'll tell you that my name was printed on it. :DThis band year has been interesting for me.I'm going to miss the seniors - they'll no longer be hanging out in the band room during class now! D:I'm going to be a senior! *shock* Just finished SATs in the early morning with Ry.We went to Norwalk High School to take them. Can't mention any stuff, though. Sorry. :(Now I will be taking the ACT this Saturday morning at Los Alamitos High School. Why there? My father's taking me, and he'll be going to the horse racing track while I take my exams.Silly fathers. :) Love my daddy!I'm a daddy's little girl. hehe~ I have to think about my future now!Argg~!I'm actually sticking to music as my major.I believe I can become a talented musician in the Asian entertainment industry.Xiao Yu Dian, fighting! Jiayou! My mother wanted me to be a doctor, but depending on how many people I know pursuing the medical career, I'd predict that in the future, there will be too many people not knowing anything else but medicine! Haha~! I'm thinging about dying my hair burgundy.People think I look similar to my sister to the point of thinking that that 4ft 9 inched sister of mine is me!I'm a foot taller than her, at least! During 2010 of February, I signed up for a extra credit activity from my French 2 teacher.Who would've thought she meant the Salsa Club performing for spirit week. It was on a Hat Day.Yes, a Hat Day.Everyone thought my legs looked sexy with the black tights, but those tights were too small for me.While we were dancing on the quad stage, I felt my tights going down quickly, but you can't tell from the dress I'm wearing. We did all right, but I wasn't satisfied with my own part of the performance. At least I got the full 100 extra credit points for my grade.I ended up with an A in that class. :-) Every single day the question's been aired into my head:Korean Pop versus Mandarin Chinese Pop? I think both are all right, because Korean Pop gives you these dance moves that are cool to incorporate into your own creativity when it comes to dancing. Mandarin Chinese Pop gives you this happy feeling like you can sing along and feel like a star. If I would ever have to perform as a permanent national singer, I wouldn't. Because I feel conversing into different cultures internationally is a good thing to broaden your horizons and point of view. Even though it's just music, I'm seriously going to give this a tie. I've heard that George Lopez has another show. Man, that guy can be pretty funny. He has a talkshow called Lopez Tonight during weeknights. Please support this funny man. Hahaha. When February passes by, it feels as if there wasn't a month to begin with. A month of romance just passes by as if it didn't exist. Well, not for me. I'm still single, but not desperate, and that's how I still stay standing, never having my lips touch another person's... Oh! I forgot! I'm taking 2 exams this June! Yup, yup, I have to take the SAT exam at NL High School and the next week ACT at another LA High School. Please support me and wish me good luck! X-D (I should probably stress and study, huh?) Have you ever realized what you actually want to do in your life?Adults keep telling you when you're young that "...you may have a dream in mind now, but the sooner you get older, the sooner you change your mind and go practical ways in your career path..."Other adults may tell you to "live your life to the fullest, but at least find an occupation or hobby that's practical for you to make money."Practical normal jobs = $$$$Practical professional jobs = $$$$$$+ upHaven't you ever realized that you can make a living out of something you want to do - just anything basically - as long as you work really hard?Don't fall into a Depression era, please. To the person or people who are reading this certain blog entry right now, read carefully on what I have to type out:Live life to however the way you want it.Be happy!Learn to be at peace with yourself; whether you're busy doing homework or working hard at your jobs. You may find out the finer things in life if you really open your eyes to the world.Money's not always important in life... although some people may think it is because we are born to learn that money is important in everything. But it's not.If we all work together, we can probably make Earth Day everyday; a part of our daily lives. So, go forth and have fun!Start participating in the things you want to do!No one would actually stop you... ;-) One day, you just might find the thing or things that are most important to you in your life from that point on. :-)Labels: busy, change, character, expensive, feel, fresh look, gifts, happy, hard work paid off, lead, life, little stuff, waiting, work, wrong or right, you, youth

10 AM in the morning, and my little sister and I ended up not going to Drumline practice due to heavy rain and the waxed band room floor that Ulises looks like he's having fun in. Just running around, back and forth like an idiot. And next thing you know, it turns into sunshine quickly around noon to 1 PM. Still at the process of translating my English blogs of this year into Mandarin Chinese. But for now, I'm extremely busy. For one, I need to eat because my mother says so. If you're ever visiting our house, you MUST eat. Feels like it's a rule or something here. ------------------------------------------- Okay, now I've been done eating a long time ago. Just got back from the mall. Thought I would get to go to the library to drop books and pick up new ones, but I realize we only have time for that tomorrow. When my family went out, they went to the bank after dropping off 2 of the kids that my mother tutors. Afterwards, we all ended up eating out at the Goldilocks restaurant + store. My father wanted to eat lomi, but it turns out they ran out of lomi! hahaha He ended up eating mami. :-) When we got to the mall afterwards, I could've sworn I saw Miko. (Note: I'm starting to forget who's who from last year's blog posts, so I'll have to just use the 1st names of the people I interact with in my life.) Now, I know a few guys named Miko. But this is THE guy. This is the Miko who's father had been friends with my father ever since they started working together. This is the Miko who I've spent my childhood years with ever since I could remember practically anything at the time. This is the Miko who I've counted how many girlfriends he had in the past. This is the Miko who decided to lose contact with me after the 7th grade of February. This is the same Miko who hasn't contacted me in 4 years, and who last year I decided not to call him Kuya anymore. ("Kuya" means "older brother" in Tagalog.) As my mother, my sister, and I opened the glass mall door, I could've sworn I saw him coming right out past me. He was a bit skinnier now, and he looked kind of just like me with the glasses he was now wearing. It was typical of him to be with a pretty girl at the time. This was today, and I even told my mother and my little sister what I thought I saw. Immediately not looking back (and not caring), they told me it wasn't really him. But I'm sticking to my gut and still definitely know that I saw him. After all these years... I really wished for him to be like an older brother to me again, but apparently life don't roll that way. I'm typing really quick as fast as I can so that my mother could use the computer. I spent about $39 at Anchor Blue and ended up with $38 in my wallet. I wanted to save at least $6 for next week when I go back to school. I figured I could give Roxane (Treasurer of the Anime Club) the money so she could collect all $30 together and turn it into the computer so that I can go to the Anime Expo. So far, I don't think I'm there yet, but I won't give up on saving money! :-) Plus, I need to save more money so that I can go shop good stuff downtown. Like, around Chinatown. Haven't been there since I was 10 years old. I have a small red Chinese traditional blouse, and now I feel like I need to buy a new one. I have a hunch that prices might be cheaper downtown anyway.... I'm planning to go Friday with my family. Either that, or I can actually try to go with friends. But then again, most people might probably say that they "have plans" and are "too busy" to go out on one night with me. But, I mean, come on! I barely go out with anyone! And even my little sister acts like she's cooler than me simply because she goes out with people! Just now my mother gave my little sister $8 from my wallet. So now I have $30. Starting tomorrow, I'll continue doing my homework. I just wish I get to hang out with friends in the evening like other teens do. It's just a matter of trust and closeness relationships with people. I've been a good little girl for too long. I NEED TO GO OUT! "......................................................................................." ..................and now you see why I'm still wanting to look for my Prince..................... I need him to rescue me from this nightmare of a boring, normal life. I need him to at least go on dates with me and like me for who I am - looks, mind, and soul. I need him to need me, because to him, ever since he met me, somehow he can't help but feel incomplete without me. Please, if anyone's out there, please help me find my Prince. Help me meet him............. Labels: A.M., blogs, change, drumline, expensive, family, glasses, info, Mandarin, otaku, P.M., rain, unusual, waiting, you

I was planning on taking the SATs, but my mother decided I should just take the exams when I'm ready. It'll be very soon until the time for taking tests ends and I'll have to fill in my college applications. Man, it's hard to be a junior in high school! There's $89 I'll never receive to take exams. I still need to buy a few essential school supplies from morning glory. Man, I love that store. :) Haven't been going there lately. :( Ahh~~ I still remember when the guy with a moustache, who looked sort of like a thug (which some people I guess barely talk to but he's fun to be around), started going about, telling people's fortune on school campus with fortune telling cards. I observed how the dude told each person's fortune. (I couldn't remember his name at the moment, so I'll just call him Ah Ben for now. He actually moved a couple of months ago. :[ ) For the last 5 minutes of lunch, I asked Ah Ben to tell my fortune. The way he told everyone their fortune seemed really realistic. Right before the bell rang (1 minute), Ah Ben told me that my future was about love. He advised me to not jump into a relationship so quick, because at the moment it's not the best idea to even start one. Following his advice, I thought about who I would have a crush on at the moment. Because whoever my crush was at the moment was the person I'd have to stay friends for a while. And I started to think of... a friend. ...man, how long until I actually get to find a prince to call my own?... Anyways, yesterday was my school's 1st drumline show. We've got 2nd place, but that was okay, seeing how most of the drumline are new players. 1st place was L.A. High, which coincidentally L.A. High hosted & always hosted the drumline competitions. (L.A. High is another name for the real school's name, so it's not Los Angeles High, alright?) But after we performed, we undressed our uniforms, and watched L.A. High's drumline. They were actually pretty good. LoL Half our drumline sat on the farther side of the gym seats from where we were at. Did I mention yesterday was also Rahmel's birthday? Well, it was also my sister's friend's birthday, but I knew Rahmel more than her, so... my bad. Just now I finished watching Legally Blondes on Disney Channel. :) Nice movie. :D As I lay quietly on my recent updated bed, I've remembered January the 7th, when Ozzy finally joined the drumline. He's now on the mallet line section, playing the chimes and the glockenspiel (a.k.a. bells). I not only play the xylophone, I'm Section Leader of the Mallet part of the Drumline. I'm still hoping for that one prince to pop into my life someday, but I've really been busy lately. :( Labels: :-), ai qing, birthday, BLAH, boys{?}, busy, change, clubs, concern, drumline, entertainment, exams, expensive, morning glory, new, optimistic pessimistic, play, prince

There was just so much drama to post during the summer that I wasn't able to put any updates. Sorry. :-( But at least I will begin anew. I am now a junior in high school, and I realize analyzing myself to a princess world doesn't help at all. It would just confuse readers. So, I'll be just refering to myself from now on. :-) That means no more code coloring (not as much) and who would be named what. I feel the internet now is a safe place to write about parts of my life right here in this blog. (Except for my name. I'm not exactly Chinese, but I'll keep my name as Jiang Fu Rui.) :-) Coming soon for more updates! Labels: :-), change, grade, life, more, new, no, princess, semester
