My Ideal Guy 我的理想盖伊

Key Icon Pictures, Images and Photos
Someone who likes to sing, shine, and at times shy; Someone who's not afraid to show a lot of emotion; Someone who's a few years older than me. I'd date someone who isn't that tall, but isn't that short (for me) either; Someone who is average, Someone who loves to write lyrics, watching movies, and learn Chinese (I'm not Chinese either, but I'm learning). Last off, I'll love a guy who has nice skinship, who's not afraid to be a little bit bad sometimes, ;-) and who's willing to spend time with an average girl...

Percussion Musician of the Year

jiro wang Pictures, Images and Photos
Omo! Why was this given to me?
Usually Drum Captains get this award every year.
I admitted to my band teacher that I felt I didn't deserve it, but he said I did.
Plus, all the lower classmen thought I deserved it. o_O
This was just awarded to me last night.
I thought for sure it was going to be Raymond and Josh.
But, when the band teacher listed all these things I did as he made one of his "possible made from the impossible" speech, I was literally speechless.
As soon as he said from Honor Band, I thought it would be awarded to Josh and Ry.
As soon as he said "fixing parts of the music to make things easier", I immediately knew he was talking about me, but I had to make sure.
(He said all these things in our annual band banquet.)
As soon as he mentioned "she", I kept swaring.
"Oh, shit, shit shit shit SHIT!"
I was trying to hold back me tears. It worked.
Always does.
I immediately pointed out in my head that I remember the Honor Band this year.
The only girl percussionist was me.
The band teacher (I shall call him director) mentioned marimbas, xylophones, and mallet stuff.
I cried on the inside.
My sister, Connie, (yes, I used her as a character in my story, Guardian. Please read that later on.) looked as though she read my ming, and smiled so brightly at me.
So, she still looks up to me, huh.
Thought that period of admiring your older sister was over.
Right when the band director said my name, I heard hollering and loud screams from behind me and all around me.
I only formed a small smile on my face as I quickly made my pace to walk up to the stage.
I hugged the band director, and everyone went "Awww~!"
I quickly made a short bow as I walked off stage.
Dude, I was like freaking nervous!
There were a lot of people being awarded in this banquet.
Even our band director got a plaque and a special pin!
Thank Kevin and Elizabeth for this idea! :D
Plus, our #1 band mom just graduated at that award banquet, which means she'll be leaving us! :(
But, no worries, she'll still contact us if we need to see her or that we miss her. :)
When the band banquet was over, most people left because it was around 8:45 PM??
Whatever. I'm still on that shock process.
Almost everyone I was familiar with who stayed after the banquet was over hugged me in sweet embraces.
They kept congratulating me.
I felt so happy.
Josh said he admitted that he thought he deserved the award, but just as well, he felt proud I got the award.
As he said that, he kept kissing the top of my head as he hugged me tightly.
I felt so confused.
Was he... jealous?
I felt bad. Later on, I heard from Konini (yeah, sometimes I call her that!) that Josh and David were the only ones so far who didn't think I deserved the award.
I know how Josh felt, and I'm glad he admitted it, but I didn't know why David felt that way about me.
I got a bit upset.
I wish he was more open to me like Josh was.
I'm still shocked over the small plaque I got.
Percussion Musician of the Year 2009-2010.
I'm not revealing my real name yet, but I'll tell you that my name was printed on it. :D
This band year has been interesting for me.
I'm going to miss the seniors - they'll no longer be hanging out in the band room during class now! D:
I'm going to be a senior! *shock* guilun Pictures, Images and Photos
Just finished SATs in the early morning with Ry.
We went to Norwalk High School to take them.
Can't mention any stuff, though. Sorry. :(
Now I will be taking the ACT this Saturday morning at Los Alamitos High School.
Why there?
My father's taking me, and he'll be going to the horse racing track while I take my exams.
Silly fathers. :) Love my daddy!
I'm a daddy's little girl. hehe~

I have to think about my future now!
Argg~!
I'm actually sticking to music as my major.
I believe I can become a talented musician in the Asian entertainment industry.
Xiao Yu Dian, fighting! Jiayou!
My mother wanted me to be a doctor, but depending on how many people I know pursuing the medical career, I'd predict that in the future, there will be too many people not knowing anything else but medicine! Haha~!

I'm thinging about dying my hair burgundy.
People think I look similar to my sister to the point of thinking that that 4ft 9 inched sister of mine is me!
I'm a foot taller than her, at least!

4th Day of Spring Break/April

10 AM in the morning, and my little sister and I ended up not going to Drumline practice due to heavy rain and the waxed band room floor that Ulises looks like he's having fun in.
Just running around, back and forth like an idiot.
And next thing you know, it turns into sunshine quickly around noon to 1 PM.
Still at the process of translating my English blogs of this year into Mandarin Chinese.
But for now, I'm extremely busy.
For one, I need to eat because my mother says so.
If you're ever visiting our house, you MUST eat.
Feels like it's a rule or something here.
-------------------------------------------
Okay, now I've been done eating a long time ago.
Just got back from the mall.
Thought I would get to go to the library to drop books and pick up new ones, but I realize we only have time for that tomorrow.
When my family went out, they went to the bank after dropping off 2 of the kids that my mother tutors.
Afterwards, we all ended up eating out at the Goldilocks restaurant + store.
My father wanted to eat lomi, but it turns out they ran out of lomi! hahaha
He ended up eating mami. :-)
When we got to the mall afterwards, I could've sworn I saw Miko.
(Note: I'm starting to forget who's who from last year's blog posts, so I'll have to just use the 1st names of the people I interact with in my life.)
Now, I know a few guys named Miko.
But this is THE guy.
This is the Miko who's father had been friends with my father ever since they started working together.
This is the Miko who I've spent my childhood years with ever since I could remember practically anything at the time.
This is the Miko who I've counted how many girlfriends he had in the past.
This is the Miko who decided to lose contact with me after the 7th grade of February.
This is the same Miko who hasn't contacted me in 4 years, and who last year I decided not to call him Kuya anymore.
("Kuya" means "older brother" in Tagalog.)
As my mother, my sister, and I opened the glass mall door, I could've sworn I saw him coming right out past me.
He was a bit skinnier now, and he looked kind of just like me with the glasses he was now wearing.
It was typical of him to be with a pretty girl at the time.
This was today, and I even told my mother and my little sister what I thought I saw.
Immediately not looking back (and not caring), they told me it wasn't really him.
But I'm sticking to my gut and still definitely know that I saw him.
After all these years...
I really wished for him to be like an older brother to me again, but apparently life don't roll that way.
I'm typing really quick as fast as I can so that my mother could use the computer.
I spent about $39 at Anchor Blue and ended up with $38 in my wallet.
I wanted to save at least $6 for next week when I go back to school.
I figured I could give Roxane (Treasurer of the Anime Club) the money so she could collect all $30 together and turn it into the computer so that I can go to the Anime Expo.
So far, I don't think I'm there yet, but I won't give up on saving money! :-)
Plus, I need to save more money so that I can go shop good stuff downtown.
Like, around Chinatown.
Haven't been there since I was 10 years old.
I have a small red Chinese traditional blouse, and now I feel like I need to buy a new one.
I have a hunch that prices might be cheaper downtown anyway....
I'm planning to go Friday with my family.
Either that, or I can actually try to go with friends.
But then again, most people might probably say that they "have plans" and are "too busy" to go out on one night with me.
But, I mean, come on!
I barely go out with anyone!
And even my little sister acts like she's cooler than me simply because she goes out with people!
Just now my mother gave my little sister $8 from my wallet.
So now I have $30.
Starting tomorrow, I'll continue doing my homework.
I just wish I get to hang out with friends in the evening like other teens do.
It's just a matter of trust and closeness relationships with people.
I've been a good little girl for too long.
I NEED TO GO OUT!
"......................................................................................."
..................and now you see why I'm still wanting to look for my Prince.....................
I need him to rescue me from this nightmare of a boring, normal life.
I need him to at least go on dates with me and like me for who I am - looks, mind, and soul.
I need him to need me, because to him, ever since he met me, somehow he can't help but feel incomplete without me.
Please, if anyone's out there, please help me find my Prince.
Help me meet him.............

Joyeux Noel! Merry Christmas To All!

Hey! This is your wakeup call! I woke up by myself at 6:15 A.M.
Everyone was fast asleep. I started watching the ending of Mr. Magorium's Magical Emporium.
It was pretty, but the way the lady makes magic looked weird. I mean her posture.
She could've done it with a little more grace, don't you think?
Last night on Christmas Eve, I went to church. The 2nd one I go to, anyway. Yeah, I know. Lame. But it wasn't exactly. You see, I got to be active the whole day.
Church is more fun once you get involved. In the morning, my mother woke me up.
I rushed quickly to get ready to go and ate a light breakfast. Holly picked me up to go to practice.
She's a sophomore from college, and she told me her boyfriend is Filipino like me.
Handbell practice was at 10 A.M., but we were there around 9:30 A.M.
I wanted to help with Holly. There were decorations hung around the church.
Hidden hooks were in open places I didn't know of. During practice, I found out 2 things:
  1. Sean found flowers he could keep to give to his boyfriend. Huh. Oh well, I'm cool with it.
  2. I brang the wrong bag with the present for someone. My mom took the liberty of helping me wrap all my gifts, since I clearly do not know how to wrap anything at all. After the last practice was over, my mother brang the right bag. When my mother left with boxes of glass vases, I gave the present to Ozzy.
When we all slowly met up around 3 P.M., Ozzy told me he opened the gift.
In it were a plushie of a panda. But you can remove the head and tail because it's magnetic.
I found him kind of smiling a bit. :) He's pretty cute like that. <(*-*)> Not that way, okay?
He & I missed the choir group picture because of Brennan. He told Ozzy a wrong key.
Ozzy couldn't open the door with the wrong key, and he thought it was the right one.
Then I came around and tried to help. The door couldn't open.
I kept suggesting ideas of bombarding the door. Ozzy kept dismissing the basic idea.
All 3 of us fumbled around the key lock until both Brennan & Ozzy brang the tables upstairs.
They left me with the key. I fumbled a bit, and decided to find another key. I found it.
It took about 15 minutes to open the door, and during that time the group picture was taken.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Oh, and by the way, "Little Raindrop" is "Xiao Yu Dian" in English.
It's a Chinese name I created for myself.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Now 10:48 P.M. on Christmas Night]
Anyways, speaking of my friend, I ended up calling him at around 9:34 P.M.
I got really bored. Apparently so was he.
I asked what he was doing, and he said,"Nothing." He's bored.
So I just filled him in on a rerun episode of MythBusters. It was pretty funny and gruesome.
But Ozzy couldn't find the channel, so I had to describe it to him. We had awkward chats.
Both of us were a little bit bummed about missing the choir group photo.
I ended up talking on the phone for 34 minutes. Wow!
That was the most time I talked on the phone for! :-O I'm waiting for my mother to cut my hair.
I wanted my hair in layers, but kept at long length at the same time, and bleached on top...
Yeah, as in bleached hair at the top of my head, and light brown hair at the bottom.
I want to see what would happen. I should probably wait though before the start of school year.
I need to see other people's reactions before keeping my hair as it is.
My hair is not cut at the moment, but my mother said she'll do it. I hope I look good.
I don't want to look weird. Like I usually do, according to other people.
I'm an otaku princess who's got self-esteem issues. haha...... Yeah, I know. Awkward.
Right now everyone in my house is sick except for me. Yay me!
But yeah, I stayed home today.
We didn't bother wrapping gifts for each other this year, since most of us know what we got for the other person.
I gave Connie a moose backpack and a cute cow pillow. It was more like a calf maybe.
I also gave her a birthstone Hello Kitty cell phone charm. She gave me in return an XXL jacket.
Kinda big for me, but I like it because it was big and black. This was the only black jacket left.
Cool. :-) She also got me a cute, small, jigsaw sticker packet and identical key necklaces.
This reminded us of Key from SHINee. I'd want him as an older brother. Connie wants him.
End of story. My sister can get really awkward. Along with her awkward friends.
My mother bought lots of cheap but useful stuff for my father. He was pretty much gifted up.
Oh! I forgot to give my mother something! X-O NOOOOOO!!!!!! Don't worry, though!
I'm sure probably tomorrow I'll find a gift for her. o_O Please wish me good luck on this!
Ahh~ I also have to do homework! :-(
Right now, I think there's a MythBuster marathon going on on T.V. This show is pretty cool.
Waiting for the New Year to arrive.
Wishing everyone in the world a
Merry Christmas
and a
Happy New Year!
:D
This has been Xiao Yu Dian.
P.S.: I just reread the last volume of Fruits Basket. It's so good!
You should read the manga from the 1st volume. This series is so good! And fun to read!
