Plot: (fictional story) - 2nd fanfic story of SHINee

• Jiang YuDi - She has a bubbly personality with a charismatic charm. She has few friends - she's content and at peace with herself. Sort of a mysterious character; no one knows much about her personal life. She's a tomboy and at the same time straight - which means she likes guys - but states that she's currently attracted to no one. A senior high schooler at the age of 17 in America. Goes to YueHan High School in California studying Advanced subjects; favorite subjects are Mandarin Chinese and Fine Arts. But - don't ever get her angry! She defends weak girls and innocent people away from bullies.
• Lee JinKi - He has a bubbly personality with some sort of curse to be accident-prone. He has 4 childhood friends from Seoul, Korea. He works part time shift at a cafe shop called ChongBo Cafe in California. Back in Korea, he and his friends formed a gang group called SHINee - the gooddest-of-the-good in school, but the baddest-of-the-bad on the streets. His only family is his little brother, Lee TaeMin. They grew up in an orphanage in Korea together after their parents died in a car accident when JinKi was 8 years old. Attends to BoKeLi University studying Advanced subjects; majors in Fine Arts and favorite subject is Mandarin Chinese. A senior college student at the age of 21 in America.
• Lee TaeMin - He has an innocent personality with a magnetic charm to make all genders grow attracted to him. He has 4 childhood friends from Seoul, Korea (includes his older brother). He rarely makes friends with anyone in YueHan High School due to his sudden popularity in America. Back in Korea, he was used to being in a gang group with his brother called SHINee. He only sticks to the people he trusts the most - he can easily tell who is a good person from the bad. He and Lee JinKi, his older brother, grew up in an orphanage in Korea together after their parents died in a car accident when TaeMin was 4 years old. A senior high schooler at the age of 16 in America. Studying Advanced subjects; favorite subjects are Mandarin Chinese and Fine Arts.
• Kim JongHyun - He has a playboy personality with a romantic side to him, which is only revealed when he wants to be. He has 4 childhood friends from Seoul, Korea. Getting bored after a month without JinKi and TaeMin in Korea, he fled to America to attend BoKeLi University to study whatever JinKi studies. He's only friendly when he wants to be. People see him as an experienced lover, but he only flirts and has never dated before. Back in Korea, he used to be in a gang group with his friends called SHINee. At times he can be shy but at the same time an egomaniac. Has an adopted brother named Kim KiBum and is rich. Their parents travel to various locations dedicated to business, so it's just the two of them in one big mansion. A junior college student at the age of 20 in America.
• Kim KiBum - He has a diva personality with an ideal "umma" in himself. He has 4 childhood friends from Seoul, Korea. Getting lonely at the mansion, he fled with JongHyun to America to study whatever his hyungs studies. Some people think of him as a gay guy, especially when he hangs around with his hyungs, which causes him to block out anyone who gets close to him; except for the SHINee gang that he was in back in Korea. He can be very blunt and direct, as well as a narcissist who loves to cook. Loves the color pink. (............) Was adopted into the Kim family after he was born due to the sudden loss of his parents from gunshot wounds at a holdup in a hospital. A sophomore college student at the age of 18. Majors in Fine Arts and English Literature.
• Choi MinHo - He has a quiet personality with a flaming charisma. He only has 4 childhood friends from Seoul, Korea. Raised in an orphanage along with the Lee brothers, but after Lee JinKi turned 19 years old, he moved to America with his little brother, TaeMin. A sophomore college student at the age of 18. Was suddenly told to fly with the Kim brothers to America in order to complete the SHINee gang, which consisted of all 5 of these boys. Very shy, but at the same time very considerate when it came to people's feelings. He blocks out anyone who gets close to him like what KiBum does, except for the bitchiness (which KiBum has). Ran away from home at the age of 4 because his family was broken apart; found out along with TaeMin 4 years later that his family never bothered to look for him nor cared if he died.

Prologue: (remember: Mandarin Chinese and English, otherwise Korean text)

A young girl walks into ChongBo Cafe and sits on a stool in front of the counter. She rings the bell, bored out of her summer break. It's been barely a week since school ended for her, and already she has nothing to do with her summer. Sure, there were 2 Advanced summer projects she had to do, but she already planned it out in her head what to do, but now she's extremely bored. The girl knew she had to use this time wisely to prepare for a university next year after high school, but right now she just needs to refresh her mind completely.

She was lucky to get out of her small average house just to drop by at the cafe. It was already noon so her parents had told her not to go too far. Luckily, ChongBo Cafe just opened up near her place. She noticed the surroundings around her, realizing she was the only customer. Not caring, she turned to the counter and continue to ring the bell.

"Hello? Is this cafe even open?" she asked aloud, more likely to herself.

Just then, a waiter popped up out of nowhere from behind her.

"Sorry, I just left for a minute to get something in my car."

She let out a yelp and spun around to find an Asian waiter, noticing she had similar eyes to his. He had this smile that made her want to become friends with him. She smiled back at him.

"It's all right, I just want to order something."

"Well, what would you like to order?"

"Well, whachya got for me?" She grinned at the young waiter. It was the first time that the waiter had somehow fallen for a girl's charismatic charm by her smile and attitude alone. He grinned back at her, trying to beat her at her own game. He sat a stool next to her, facing her so that they'd talk to each other more.

"I honestly don't have a clue, Miss, because this is just my first part time job here, and it's my first day as well. To be frank with you, I haven't even met the owner of this shop. I keep getting regular notes to just run this shop, and then I can get paid."

"Weird, you haven't even met the owner of this shop?" The waiter nodded in reply.

"And he left you in charge basically?" The waiter slowly nodded in reply.

A smile crept up on the girl's face. "How about you lend me a summer job here, then? I could use the money."

"Eh?"

To the waiter's surprise, the little girl made a puppy pout face in front of him. Dang! he thought, This little girl's too cute! Omo~ she looks like Jjong and Minnie when she does that! La~! She also had that charismatic smile on her earlier like MinHo's, and she's dressed up similar to what Key would dress up normally. I guess with her around, she can accompany me.... I suddenly miss my SHINee friends... :(

A snap from the little girl's fingers woke the waiter back up to reality.

"Um, so, will you let me have a summer job here, please?"

"Um, are you legal to be working?"

"Yeah, I turned 17 years old last Friday!" she exclaimed. The waiter was skeptical about this, so he asked for her ID. She showed him her previous school ID, and true enough, she was telling the truth. To the girl's amazement, the waiter started chuckling.

"What are you laughing at?"

The waiter slowly stopped laughing and continued to smile. "Nothing, it's just that you look cute when you're chubby! Look at your ID!"

Embarrassed, the girl snatched her ID away and stood up to leave, saying, "That was a year ago, and nothing much changed about me since, so stop laughing at my chubby figure!" Realizing that the girl was angry, the waiter stood up quickly and grabbed her by the arm.

"Wait! Okay, I'm sorry! You can have the job, so long as you know how to make coffee or ice cream."

The girl turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow. "You also sell ice cream here?"

"Yes."

"At a cafe?"

"Yes, I know it's strange, but that's what I found here lately. Nothing else. So will you accept the job?"

The girl smiled at him. "Let me call my parents to confirm this matter." The waiter nodded for her to do so as she walked to a nearby booth inside the cafe and pulled out her cellphone. After about 15 minutes on the phone (the girl had to give her phone to the waiter to confirm the job to her parents and promises had to be kept), the girl finally accepted the job.

With delight, the waiter stuck out his hand towards the girl. "Hello, and welcome to the ChongBo Cafe. My name is JinKi Lee and I am 21 years old. I currently attend to BoKeLi University, and I arrived here in America a month ago with my brother from Seoul, Korea."

The girl shook his hand. "Hi, my name is YuDi Jiang and I am 17 years old. I currently attend YueHan High School, and I'd be happy to be your guide here in California, so long as I'm not far away from my hometown, okay?" JinKi was surprised with her sudden Korean, which she also added, "Oh, and I studied a bit of Korean because my little sister loves Korean pop music. So do you want me to be your guide or not?"

JinKi nodded in agreement as the two continued to hold hands. Since there were no customers coming for the whole day, JinKi gave YuDi the whole tour of ChongBo Cafe. He taught her how to make coffee, which was a disaster, ending up making a mess around the coffee machine. He then taught her how to make ice cream, which was easier for YuDi to make, so from now on he appointed her as Ice Cream Waiter. YuDi had to portray as a guy due to the one gender uniforms that were supplied in the cafe, and nothing else.

They basically had fun with each other as they continued to hold hands. When JinKi taught YuDi how to make ice cream, he wrapped his arms around her from behind and held onto her arms to help. They laughed together while making the coffee mess and ended up cleaning it afterwards, still laughing and goofing off.

Little did these 2 people know that they will encounter various obstacles... specifically 4 of them...
